What is Health and Wellness?

Health and wellness, to me, means taking on a holistic approach to living in order to be free of illness.  Now, you’re asking, “what does holistic Body, Mind & Spiritmean?”, right?  Well, simply put, holistic is considering the whole being…body, mind and spirit.  If we tend to all three, we will be healthier and happier, than if we tend to only the body.  Make sense?

We will be discovering more about this as we go along.  We will learn, together, how to PREVENT illness by tending to our body, mind and spirit.
Excited?  I am!!

  1. Those are really some very sound advises for good sleep for women over 50 in fact most of them holds true for others as well especially meditation is something I recommend on my blog and all the other points will surely help people to have a good night sleep.
    I really know the importance of sleep in a person’s life from experience because mental health is most important and mind runs the whole show of our life. Nice post 🙂

  3. I was looking for some wellness information for my mother who has difficulties sleeping and some other minor health concerns. This site has some very helpful information that is easily readable for her. I am definitely passing this site to her.

Truthfully, I believe most people feel the way you do in that they have every intention in living healthier, but life just gets in the way sometimes. For some, it takes a life changing event to motivate them to move forward in the pursuit of wellness. Please let me know if there’s anything more specific you’d like addressed.
