How I found Yoga Download
I had a huge surprise the other day when I opened my Yoga Guru FREE app on my phone and found that the weight loss practice I had been doing 3 times a week was no longer available. Even though I had it stored in my memory and could have practiced without it, I was saddened at this discovery; I had come love the instructor’s gentle voice and the soft music playing in the background. After the disappointment wore off, I started a search for a new program to try out…one that wouldn’t disappear on me. Continue reading →
Understanding the mechanics of stress gives you the advantage of being more aware of and sensitive to your own level of stress and knowing when and how to take proactive steps. This increased awareness also helps you to better care for your family, friends and colleagues. Here are a few stress facts that many people are unaware of:
Fact #1:Your body doesn’t care if it’s a big stress or a little one.
The human body doesn’t discriminate between a BIG stress or a little one. Regardless of the significance, stress affects the body in predictable ways. A typical stress reaction, which most of us experience dozens of times each day, begins with a cascade of 1,400 biochemical events in your body. If these reactions are left unchecked we age prematurely, our cognitive function is impaired, our energy is drained, and we are robbed of our effectiveness and clarity. Continue reading →

Bose SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphones II Review
When you get more into meditation, you’ll learn about different types of meditation. One type that you may enjoy and get great benefit from is called Binaural Beats Meditation. According to wikipedia, a binaural beat is defined as an auditory illusion perceived when two different pure-tone sine waves, both with frequencies lower than 1500 Hz, with less than a 40 Hz difference between them, are presented to a listener one through each ear. For example, if a 530 Hz pure tone is presented to a subject’s right ear, while a 520 Hz pure tone is presented to the subject’s left ear, the listener will perceive the auditory illusion of a third tone, in addition to the two pure-tones presented to each ear. The third sound is called a binaural beat. All technical mumbo jumbo aside, binaural beats used in meditation can help you achieve a full meditation state, heighten creativity, increase focus and concentration, reduce anxiety, induce sleepiness and relaxation.
